Welcome back! Accents define who we are in a way, opens up a new door to our identity, a new feature that makes us unique and stand out from others. It is important to remember to not forget our own personal accents as it makes us more special. A quotation from a topical issue says the following: ‘It is important that we teach children that, to get on, they must speak Standard English with an RP accent’. In my opinion this is wrong, individuals don't have to have an RP accent to fit in, fitting in to society is natural you don't have to change in order to fit in. British or Americanish Some Britishisms entering American English are vogue words and catchphrases this is because there was no American word/expression with that specific meaning. English language has been spoken and developed for 1400 years. ‘English is the most widely spoken language in the United States and is the common language used by the federal government, to the extent that all laws and compulsory education are practiced in English.’ This statement shows that in the United States the language spoken is English it is also referred to as American English; this is because some words are said in an American accent and few words are changed to fit the thing that the people are talking about. Helllllllooooo Guess what?! Research has proven that swearing reduces stress, increases pain tolerance, and boost of strenght. Swearing boosts grip strenght by 2.1 kilograms on average. Some people swear because they are used to it due to living in that kind of lifestyle where swearing is very common, this is important to understand and not judge others for it cause they don't know that they might sound "rude". Snoop Dogg grew up in the rapper lifestyle with all the swearing however he claimed he has changed his ways and no more "bitches" or "hoes" for woman. God our man changed SNOOP DOGG maaaaan.
